Dreadlocks

A full head of dreadlocks will take approximately 6 hours, though we can't guarantee a finish time for you. Lots of factors can change the timing on this service - dread size, hair length and density, and texture can all increase the amount of labor involved. Make sure you allow yourself a little wiggle room in your day's planning.

That's tough to predict at the get go. You'll certainly lose much less with this method than with just backcombing and wax, but be prepared to shrink up a couple of inches - and more if you have very wispy ends. If you're keen on keeping the length, go for tapered tips; the blunted ones will end up quite a bit shorter.
