Repair & Reconstruction

Sometimes, despite the best of intentions, your hair can get a little out of hand. We’re not talking “loose hair, a little bit of joining”, we’re talking “Oh wait… why do I only have one dreadlock now?” You don’t have to start all over again,  all you need is a little R&R!

Repair includes more mature dreadlock problems like reattaching broken lengths, correcting major matting between sections, and strengthening weak spots. We’ll also tackle major joins and shape irregularities. Reconstruction usually has us tackling newer, often home-started locks that just aren’t working out the way our clients would like. Overzealous sectioning, large loops and bubbles, and hair that just won’t come together is easily fixed! We’ll resection and reweave from top to bottom to create tight, easy to maintain locks.  In a few weeks, those areas in between the dreads fill in and you’ve got locks that look like a million bucks!
